Common questions

How much does Kick pay per sub?

A Kick sub costs a flat $5.00 a month in every country Kick supports, and you keep 95%, so each sub pays you $4.75. Kick keeps the other 5% to cover payment processing.

Do gifted subs pay the same as normal subs on Kick?

Yes. A gifted sub is a normal sub that someone else paid for, so it pays you the same $4.75.

How much is a KICK worth?

Kick doesn't publish a fixed cash value per KICK, and you keep 95% of what viewers spend on them. The calculator starts at 1 cent per KICK. Open “Change prices” and set it to what your Kick dashboard shows.

Is Kick or Twitch better for money?

Per sub, Kick pays more: $4.75 against $2.50 on Twitch's standard 50/50 split, or $3.49 at Twitch's best 70/30 split. Where you can grow an audience matters more than the split, which is why many streamers multistream to both.

How does YouTube compare?

YouTube pays creators 70% of what fans spend on channel memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers and Super Thanks, according to YouTube's Partner Program rules. You set your own membership price; at $4.99 a month, each member pays you about $3.49. Purchases made in the YouTube phone apps can pay a little less after app-store fees. Ad revenue isn't included here because it depends on your views and audience.

Are these numbers before tax?

Yes. They are what the platform pays you before income tax and before any fees your bank or payout method charges.
